"Time went by, and my ring suggested a new door to open, while all the others kept closing."

I'm telling you
MY STORY
It was 2015 when Preziosa was born. After earning a degree in Design at the Politecnico, I decided to go study in New York. That experience changed everything. Days went by, and somehow I realized that I either understood that city—or maybe it understood me. It was a unique, incredibly beautiful feeling that made me feel all my strength and courage.
I chose to return to Italy because “designing jewelry” was exactly what I wanted to do. But I didn’t want to lose those feelings and that energy… so the first thing I made was a ring featuring the skyline of MY city. I went to countless interviews looking for an internship, but every response was the same: “You’re talented, full of creativity, but you have no experience.”
Despite my determination, all I encountered were closing doors. “Time went by, and my ring suggested a new door to open, while all the others just kept closing.”
So one day, I decided to try creating something of my own—and that’s how Preziosa was born.
The brand carries my last name as its logo, and its signature color is that beautiful, warm sunset pink I loved watching so much in New York.
JANUARY 2026
Almost five years ago, Roberto, a wonderful guy, came into the showroom to buy a gift—so wonderful that three years later, I married him.
In September 2025, Roberto’s company sent him abroad for a year, and fate had it that the destination was my beloved city: New York. We found a beautiful apartment (the view in this photo is incredible), and living here is simply amazing.
I go back and forth a bit, but I had decided that January and February I would spend fully in NY for several reasons.
As I mentioned months ago, I’ve been very tired. Preziosa was born and grew with so much effort over the years, and I’ve reached the limit of my strength. I realized I needed to change something—or at least take a break to organize my thoughts and decide on its future.
I took the opportunity to spend two months in my favorite city, to be with my husband, and to rest physically as well, especially since in April 2026, our family will be welcoming a new little one.
In these nine years, I’ve always put Preziosa first. I’ve literally given up everything for her, and I’m proud I did—it’s part of being an entrepreneur, or more simply, part of building something with your own hands. This time, though, I really need to figure out the best way to handle things, so I’ve chosen to take a break.
Not everything is on hold, I just don’t feel ready yet. For now, orders are simply postponed until my return to Italy (end of February). I hope you understand. Preziosa is me—and sometimes, unfortunately, you can’t do everything you want.

APRIL 2026
Unfortunately, in April there will be some delays in the production of custom pieces… but I have something truly very important to do!
I’m going to become a mom for the first time, and I’ll need a few days before I can get fully back to work.
As I mentioned before, 2026 is really a special year… I’m doing my best to make everything work, and I sincerely thank you for your patience. The truth is, I don’t know exactly what will happen, how things will go, or how I’ll manage everything, but I’ll do my best. Unfortunately, Preziosa depends on me, and I can’t delegate all the work I do—because even if it may not seem like it, I really do a lot for Preziosa, and every task is different.
I’m organizing things so I can work more comfortably from home and not leave Preziosa behind during these weeks, but I also want to dedicate the right time to my little Ambra, who is on her way—and she deserves it ❤️
Thank you for your understanding and support.
Silvia
